wow.. this is nice... takes me back atleast 450 years ago, back when there were humans on my world. they thrived on rocks and metals, making caves and brick/steel rock homes. i can just remember my dad telling me stories of them when i was young.
If I remember right - some of the building on the right side - behind the huge rock are free to rent. The rent is cheap - regarding the minimum of view. But the neighbors are quit nice and "green" Cheers
This is great.. Where do you start when you make a landscape like this.. Do you start off with a dark screen and cut in or the other way around. Love the detail on the pillar bases. If you ever do a tutorial I am so going to check that out.. Again great work!
Thanks! Sometimes an idea is already in my mind and if not - I start with blocking rough color shapes and pushe those further later on. Or I do some pretty rough sketches - sort of thumbs. I do have some videos and tuts on my blog Cheers
Deep down... There are so many amazing things in this landscape The stairs leading up in the left, the glad in the back in the middle and then the dark red scary hole in the left Although you get a feeling of hope while looking at the glad and the stairs the birds fly towards the scary looking hole...
