I have started doing paintings in Ps and they are looking really good the only thing is I have to use a reference picture to take the colors from and what not. I want to be able to paint something from scratch like you do. If you could give me one word of advice what would it be?
Well - for sure. There is nothing against using images as a reference. Everything that helps to get better is the right way. Another good way is to play around with layer effect - such as soft light, hard light and so on. Try to paint in a soft ramp on a separate layer and play with those effects. Sometimes happy accidents will do the trick, too. Beside that, you could play around with the color balance tool, too. A great way to change the values for the highlights, mid-tones and shadows. And the most important thing - keep experimenting!
THANKS, so much for the kind words! Absolutely appreciated and be sure I'm happy that you like it. Yup - I use the sharpen effect at the end and apply it to all of my images. Gives some nice touches, too
You're welcome! Ahh,I see! ^^ I just started using that effect too,but I need sooooooo soo much more practicing hehe. And do you usually make a sketch before starting?Or you instantly put on the basic colours?
NooOOOOoooOOOOooo... ..... .. . D: Either he kidnapped him and took him to an obscure location so that he could shoot him, or he just killed him and is about to hide his body in the trunk. OR, he is a survivor which was happened upon by a zombie. Zombies are always a viable answer.
