Ich leg meistens gleich amanfang meine farben fest (mischen und pinseln). Später ergeben sich die Farben teils durch überlagerung und teils durch die palette.
Ich nemh zum beispiel keine reine hellere Farbe, sondern ziehe sie immer eher in gräuliche…
ansonsten viel color balance und fotofilter - der rest ist dann wieder color picker :)

für das character painting habe ich ein video mit geschnitten. Beide part sind jetzt on air und auf meinem Blog.
Da sind man eigentlich ganz gut, wie ich mit farbe arbeite bzw. umgehe:)

Habs mir mal angeschaut, echt gut! Am Anfang malst du die Farben also direkt ins Bild und später benutzt du dann eher den colorpicker, wenn ich richtig aufgepasst habe^^

Freut mich, dass es dir gefällt.
Ich leg bei vielen Bildern am Anfang schon die Palette fest und arbeite später eigentlich nur noch mit dem color picker.
Also - richtig aufgepasst:)
Um ein wenig farbvariation zu bekommen, benutze ich auch ein grau und mal das transparent über ein paar stellen - und dann wieder color picken:)

Hatte ich auch schon überlegt - war mir aber wegen dem character nicht mehr sicher. Vielleicht hätte es sonst zu sehr abgelenkt.

Man, wish i was able to do colors and values like that.. Do you use a ref when doing values and colors? And do you color pic from a ref photo?

I usually set my colors in the beginning of a painting and color pick a lot during the entire process. Sometimes I use refs for the overall color composition and sometimes my colors are just happy accidents. I also use a lot the color balance and photo filter…
