That thing in the air looks like the mother ship from District 9.
And this picture is beautiful. The rusty Ferris's wheel jutting above the treetops are very nice, since it shows just how many years into a future this can be. I think I'll "steal" it and put it up as my desktop, if that's OK for you.
Well - in case that this is a bit of different technique I'm used to normally - a bit longer. If I remember correctly round about 4 to 5 hours for the initial painting (could be found on my blog) and another hour or so for the kite dude and the spaceship stuff. This amount of time is pretty high compared to my other works. If you're interested - you could have a sneak peak on my blog. There you'll find a couple of tutorials and screen caps (timelaps). maybe this will give you a feeling in how I'm painting my stuff and how much time it will take (for my normal style).
that is crazy... in 4 to 5 hours i can only get a good sketch, and for a okay paint i need about 16 hours and thats with a photo ref!
yeah i looked at ur tutorials and i kinda learned one thing.,, you guys are very familiar with photoshop and the brushes and what they can do. i guess any good painter just have to have alot of pratices... well thank you for the reply malo,
